JCI Testimonial – Sylvia Namaganda, Projects Director 2018
January 11, 2018 11:22 pm 3 CommentsEveryday, I celebrate having becoming a JCI member.
To cut the story short, I got a purpose in life when I engaged in JCI activities.
In May 2016, I gradually committed myself to working on being an active citizen in my community.
Joining a membership organisation while my college friends went partying was a worthwhile path to take. This turning point in my life, I will live to cherish.
My favourite JCI experiences includes;
- The ABP Southampton charity Marathon where I won a medal upon completion
- Running the launch of JCI Uganda at Makerere University
- Leading a public speaking and debate workshop at Greenwich West community and arts Centre
- Opportunity to work with different members/nationalities, creating awareness about global peace and all the SDG’s.
“This year, I challenged myself to the post of Projects Director and I hope to achieve more from JCI. I have seen myself grow from glory to glory. I can’t wait to complete University and engage even more.”
I leave this quote with you: "To think big and use our talents, doesn’t mean we won’t have difficulties along the way" ~ Ben Carson ~Tags: JCI, JCI GREENWICH, JCIUK, Testimonial
