Female Empowerment Discussion in light of International Women’s Day

Date: Sat, 10 March 2018

Time: 1 – 4pm

The female empowerment event will be a small facilitated interactive session giving us an opportunity to share with each other topics which affect girls/women and how to overcome them:

These topics will include:

  1. The pressure from social media and the need to conform to these standards
  2. Expectations put on women/girls by their families.
  3. Handling relationships and so much more topics.

Our attendees will have an opportunity to voice their views on how we can overcome certain barriers which limit women empowerment

“Overall, the event is aimed to give us a chance to air our views on these matters and empower each other as it will be a compliment to international women’s day”

If you would like to be involved in the Female Empowerment Discussion, please do get in touch with Haayati (info@jcigreenwich.org.uk).

If you have a project idea that you would like to be heard please get in touch with Sylvia Namaganda our Projects Director on snamaganda76@yahoo.com
